Bridgewater where you can decorate a

factory tour. Gladstone Pottery Museum takes you back to
the Victorian era with its bottle ovens, cobbled courtyard

Explore the meaning of the
Hoard and the symbols which
decorate it. See how fragments
of the Hoard have been
reconstructed and brought to
life through replicas and
interactives.
The Hoard has also inspired
members of the community to
produce their own works, displayed
alongside the main exhibition.
There is an inspiring programme of
hands-on workshops for schools.
Visit the specially
commissioned 9ft
sculpture of the
Staffordshire Saxon
Warrior who is on
proud display within
the Museum’s foyer.
During your visit you will also be able to see the
world's greatest collection of Staffordshire ceramics,
a WW2 Spitfire and outstanding displays of fine and
decorative art, plus local and natural history. Enjoy
light refreshments in the cafe including Staffordshire
oatcakes and browse the museum shop which stocks
a range of locally produced ceramics and official
Staffordshire Hoard merchandise.
