Surgical Instrument Specials
Meeting the functional clinical needs of the physician is paramount in
creating custom instruments. Working in conjunction with the written
functional requirements provided by the requesting surgeon, all
delivered product will meet those functionality requirements as
described in writing by you, the surgeon.
Prototypes and Concepts
Those who actively participate in the O.R. Clinical environment
generate significant and meaningful ideas. Pilling engineers have
the knowledge and experience to take those ideas and walk through
concept to prototype with you to ensure your idea becomes a reality.

Custom Instrument Purchases
It is often difficult, time consuming and costly for the
Hospital or Surgeon to orchestrate the acquisition of
purchases from numerous other companies. As part of
the Pilling program, we will purchase a specific product
for the physician or hospital. Pilling acts as a distributor
for that specific product.
Custom Instrument Process
• Provide written functional requirements under the
requesting surgeons signature to our Pilling Custom
Surgical Instrument Team.
• Technical Specialists will review the requirement
and provide a price quotation.
