ATRAUGRIP ® JAWS A single row of finely serrated teeth opposing 000000 a double row, precisely crafted are designed to deliver the most minimal trauma to tissue. RATCHETS Provide the finite control necessary in cardiovascular thoracic surgery. They are designed to furnish the precise increments of pressure desired. Furnished in 1 x 7, 1 x 9, 1 x 11 steps. TIPS Uniformly rounded. Virtually eliminates the potential for suture snag. CREST Prevents inadvertent pinching of tissue by providing an expansion area for the tissue. SHANKS Tempered to eliminate rigidity while providing proportionate softness. VASCULAR CLAMPS FINGER RINGS Comfortably sized. JAWS Jaws on Pilling clamps are set with precision. The most commonly used jaw design, (and most imitated). Proven through many years’ use at hospitals throughout the world, on adult peripheral vascular, aortic occlusion and partial occlusion clamps. A small version of the original AtrauGrip ® used on most bulldogs, vascular tissue forceps and numerous pediatric clamps. The smallest size AtrauGrip ® being used on many new pediatric and adult peripheral vascular clamps, bulldogs and forceps. Double row of serrated teeth opposing a triple row. This modified version of the AtrauGrip ® serration, having a broader clamping surface, is used on large clamps for aortic cross clamping and on diseased and calcified arteries. Clamps with the 2 x 3 serration are also used frequently in general surgery as bowel clamps. Two opposing rows of fine atraumatic teeth. Originally designed especially for surgery on infants and children the jaws grasp vessels firmly with less danger of crushing. Also available on a limited group of adult vascular clamps. Single row of opposing teeth. The narrowest available vascular clamp. Designed for neonatal vascular surgery, these clamps have also proven of value in adult surgery of the carotid femoral and popliteal arteries and for creating A.V. Fistulas.
