5.3.3.1.3 Format 1A<br />

DCI format 1A is used for a compact transmission of DL-SCH assignments for SIMO operation.<br />

The following information is transmitted by means of the DCI format 1A:<br />

- Distributed transmission flag – 1 bit<br />

- Resource allocation header<br />

- Resource block assignment – ⎡N RB<br />

as indicated in subclause [7.1.1] of [3]<br />

bits, where the value of P depends on the number of DL resource blocks<br />

- TPC comm<strong>and</strong> for PUCCH <strong>and</strong> persistent PUSCH – 2 bits<br />
