<strong>QHRAI</strong> AND QUARTER HORSE FANS<br />
REALLY KNOW HOW TO HAVE FUN!!<br />
June 30th was a huge event for <strong>QHRAI</strong> and Quarter Horse fans in Indiana!! In edition to a full card of Quarter<br />
Horse races including 5 stakes with purses totalling over half a million dollars, we managed to fit some<br />
other activities in the day!!<br />
The day was kicked off with a<br />
picnic sponsored by <strong>QHRAI</strong><br />
and Indiana Downs. The band<br />
“Down Shift” provided entertainment<br />
the crowd.<br />

courtesy of great Indiana<br />
Downs folks,<br />
to the “backside” to<br />
see where horses are<br />
stalled, receiving barn,<br />
test barn and other features<br />
of the track.<br />

Chris Duke, <strong>QHRAI</strong> President and Jen Perkins,<br />
AQHA “Racing Ace” discussed thier handicap<br />
picks with the crowd during the picnic. Free<br />
betting vouchers were given to anyone who had<br />
questions asked. Rumor has it that Chris out<br />
handicapped Jen, maybe his inside connections<br />
gave him a slight advantage!!
