The Racing Quarter Horse<br />
Half the Track, Twice the Excitement!!<br />
There were many types of fan fare for people of all ages at the horse fair. The crowd at the<br />
Quarter Horse Demonstration chanting "Quarter Horse" got free T shirts thrown by leading<br />
Quarter Horse jockeys. Participants in the handicapping races who chose the winning horse<br />
won the "golden ticket" award which entitles them to a complimentary pass to Quarter Horse<br />
Day on June 30th. Jockeys signed autographs for fans of all ages, and the "fastest kids in the<br />
arena" won a bid to Youth Day or gifts after the foot races. Bugler Dan Golando kicked off<br />
each <strong>QHRAI</strong> event with the notorious "Call to Post"!!
