QHRAI
at the
Tom Mosley, QHRAI Director of Industry Relations, shows horse
fans the fantastic photo album that Sarah Compton made after she
attended the 2011 Quarter Horse Day at Indiana Downs. She had
photos and details of horses in the paddock and going to the track and even
about meeting jockeys and getting thier autographs. Sarah enterered her
photo album in the 4-H fair and received Champion Honors. Sarah is a true
example of someone who has a passion for horses and we certainly enjoyed
her company at the Horse Fair. She talked about her experience and fun
she had at Quarter Horse Day last year and the excitement of getting an at -
home visit on Christmas Eve from Jockey Jeff Hogan. She had a smile on
her face every time we saw her. Sarah went into the hospital just a couple
days after these pictures were taken at the horse fair, to have heart surgery.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Sarah and her family as she recovers and
we look forward to her participating in the QHRAI Youth Day this year and
and once again seeing her at Quarter Horse Day on June 30th.
