FASTEST QUALIFIER WH JOHNNIE BOY RED RETURNS IN JAGUAR ROCKET Julia Rae Martin’s Wh Johnnie Red raced to his third consecutive victory with a neck win over Sixy Lil Garter in the $130,700 Jaguar Rocket Stakes for two-year-olds. The Jonathan Perry gelding out of Fast Mans Dash, by Heza Fast Man, completed the 300 yards in :17.672 seconds, a 98 speed index. The $60,720 winner’s purse swelled his bank account to $86,173 after only four starts. Also trained by Smith, Sixy Lil Garter was ridden by Ruben Serna. Out of the Reckless Dash mare Spurs N Garters, she has earned just over $36,000 in three starts. Still winless after four starts, Kitticelli led late before settling for third, earning $13,070 for owner Jane Marie Arendsen. Dicky Wayne Benton trains the Genuine Botticelli gelding out of Kittens Line, by Sun Line. Coronet Farms are the breeder. Tinys First Pepsi, Zoom N 324, Wrangling For Money, Its Jus Max, Jess A James, Flys No Mystery and Hoosier Rabbit completed the order of finish.
