A regular schedule of laboratory inspections will be posted in the bulletin board<br />
outside of each department office. Records of all laboratory inspections will be<br />
kept in the office of the <strong>Chemical</strong> <strong>Hygiene</strong> Officer at A204. Maintenance records<br />
will be kept by the Buildings and Grounds Department in SER215.<br />
5. Medical information<br />
Medical information resulting from medical consultations and exams conducted<br />
in response to workplace exposures or incidents. These records will be kept by the<br />
Personnel Office and access to them will be restricted.<br />
6. Air monitoring results and exposure records are kept at the EHS Office A204.<br />
7. Respiratory protection program are kept at the EHS Office A204.<br />
8. <strong>Chemical</strong> <strong>Hygiene</strong> Committee meeting minutes are kept at the EHS Office<br />

9. OSHA's Access to Medical and Exposure Records:<br />
OSHA's Access to Medical and Exposure Records Standard (29 CFR Part 1910.20)<br />
further specifies that employees have a right to results of personal medical examinations<br />
conducted by or on behalf of the employer, and a right to results of the monitoring of the<br />
ambient air in the employee's workplace<br />
a) All employees, their representatives by written authorization, and<br />
their union representatives have the right to:<br />
(1) Workplace monitoring or measuring of a toxic substance<br />
(2) Biological monitoring that assesses level of toxicity to exposed employee not<br />
including alcohol and drugs<br />
(3) Material Safety Data Sheets<br />
(4) <strong>Chemical</strong> inventory or other documents that reveal identity and use of<br />
harmful physical agents<br />
(5) Employee medical records, which may include:<br />
· Medical questionaires, histories<br />
· Results of all medical examinations, and laboratory tests such as preemployment<br />
testing<br />
· Medical opinions, notes, recommendations<br />
· First aid records<br />
· Treatments and prescriptions<br />
· Medical complaints<br />
The employer must provide requested material within 15 working days. Copies<br />
must be made available at no cost to the employee or employee representative.<br />
The employer may loan records to the employee or representative for the purpose<br />
of making copies. Copies of any and all medical records, in addition to those<br />
specified in the standard, should be made available to employees and their<br />
representatives.<br />
Medical records of employees with one or more years employment must be kept<br />
30 years after the employee's employment is terminated. An employee with less<br />
