OPEN House Saturday September 7th 10am-noon EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNT 4Teens College: Test Prep Test Prep English Language Arts Mathematics Specialized High School Entrance Test Prep Practice SHSAT skills through learning logical reasoning, comprehension, algebra, word problems, probability, and statistics. Develop test-taking skills, learn to analyze questions and select correct answers. The next exam will be this November so get an early start to be prepared. Develop skills and attain the knowledge to increase your performance on the test. CLX-374 SP: 6 sessions (12 hours) / $260 / 11:15am-1:15pm, Sept. 28-Nov. 2 Hunter College High School Test Preparation (grade 6) Read, analyze and interpret test questions, broaden your vocabulary and increase your essay writing skills. Review mathematics and develop competence in problem solving and test taking strategies. Only those sixth graders who have been approved to take the January Hunter HS test by their school principals should register for this course. Principal’s letter of approval must accompany registration. Test Date: Friday January 10, 2014. Using drawing as the foundation for all art, work on projects that will include: portraits, fashion, still life, anime, landscape, & cartooning. Develop & strengthen your observational drawing skills. Class is geared toward specific portfolio requirements and includes extensive one-on one instruction. Bring a 18x24 charcoal pad. Portfolios to be submitted in eighth grade for specialized art school admissions.
