Students receive intensive instruction in academic reading, writing, and pre-college math, and are provided academic and personal advising, preparing them for the CUNY Placement tests and college-level work. To apply for CLIP, the student must first apply to CUNY and be admitted to one of the CUNY colleges for a degree or certificate program. CLIP prepares ESL students for college level work in English.
