reactions, (weather-related) shocks, burns, poisons and sudden illness in the workplace. Learn
to recognize everyday emergency situations and take appropriate action until professional help
arrives. The American Heart Heartsavers guidelines mandate the required workbook manual
be read prior to class (available at the QCC Bookstore @ less than $10).

and body parts. Hands-on training using proper
technique and body mechanics emphasized
to administer and document 1-hour general
reflexology sessions. NYS Education Department
approved QCC Continuing Education for 24 CEs
(section 78.5).
Student provides own sheet, towel, fragrance-free
non-greasy lotion.

Pre-Natal Massage

The class will prepare students with the
appropriate knowledge and skills to provide
safe and effective massage therapy to women
in their childbearing year (pregnancy, labor, and
postpartum). Learn Eastern & Western massage
techniques to treat common discomforts
associated with pregnancy,
labor, and delivery, the complications
and contraindications, as well as the
benefits, indications and cautions. Registrants
will need to bring the following items to class:
3 regular pillows, a set of clean twin sheets,
and 2 clean bath towels. QCC is an approved
Continuing Education provider under the
NYS Education Department (Section 78.5).
Upon completion, the student will earn 30
CEUs Prerequisite: Associates in MT and/or
NYS MT License.
