Pre-Natal Massage<br />

The class will prepare students with the<br />

appropriate knowledge and skills to provide<br />

safe and effective massage therapy to women<br />

in their childbearing year (pregnancy, labor, and<br />

postpartum). Learn Eastern & Western massage<br />

techniques to treat common discomforts<br />

associated with pregnancy,<br />

labor, and delivery, the complications<br />

and contraindications, as well as the<br />

benefits, indications and cautions. Registrants<br />

will need to bring the following items to class:<br />

3 regular pillows, a set of clean twin sheets,<br />

and 2 clean bath towels. QCC is an approved<br />

Continuing Education provider under the<br />

NYS Education Department (Section 78.5).<br />

Upon completion, the student will earn 30<br />

CEUs Prerequisite: Associates in MT and/or<br />
