Hearts for Homeless Families<br />
Sanfilippo estate in barrington hills, 5 p.m.<br />

European Eden Palais Carousel. The world’s<br />
largest theatre organ with 8,000 pipes.<br />
Antique music, arcade and gambling machines,<br />
and a street clock that stands 20 feet tall.<br />
Experiencing the treasures of the Sanfilippo<br />
Estate usually requires a personal invitation.<br />
On April 28 the estate will open its doors<br />
to the public for the 23rd Annual Hearts for<br />
Homeless Families “The 8th Wonder of the<br />
World Tour” dinner and auction. This event<br />
benefits Catholic Charities Northwest Regional<br />
Services and the New Hope Apartments<br />
Program, an innovative supportive housing<br />
program. The cost is $175 per person, or<br />
$1,650 for a table of ten. Sponsorships, ads<br />
and donation opportunities are available.<br />

South <strong>Barrington</strong> Residents<br />
Support Giving Day<br />
On December 1, a group of active residents at Regency at the Woods in South<br />
<strong>Barrington</strong> gathered to assemble teddy bears to be given out at the <strong>Barrington</strong> Giving<br />
Day program held later in the month. One of the women has a neighbor who is a teacher<br />
in <strong>Barrington</strong> District 220, who helped deliver the gifts for this annual holiday-time event<br />
that helps families in need within the school district.<br />
Spend a Day at St. Anne School<br />
It’s registration time for the 2012/2013 school year at St. Anne School. The school<br />
invites members of the community to see the wonderful things that happen in this<br />
award-winning school. Your child is invited to spend a morning as a student at<br />
St. Anne School, 319 E. Franklin Street, in <strong>Barrington</strong>.<br />
Full day classes for preschool age children through eighth grade with before and after<br />
care will be available. There are current openings in all grades. Preschool classes for<br />
3- and 4-year-olds, with enrichment options to help create a flexible extended day,<br />
are currently available. St. Anne Catholic School welcomes children of all faiths.<br />
