grades his Department defines as senior officials in his<br />
Department’s arm’s length bodies. [150238]<br />
Richard Benyon: Senior staff in core DEFRA and its<br />
executive agencies are defined as those paid within the<br />
senior civil service paybands. These include paybands 1,<br />
1A, 2 and 3, as well as Permanent Secretary.<br />
The following table provides the names of the pay<br />
grades that are considered equivalent to the senior civil<br />
service (SCS) in the Department’s arms length bodies.<br />
