Dry comb
Dry combing values differ less than wet combing values.
VARISOFT ® 432 PPG was judged to offer the most significant improvement in dry comb. VARISOFT ® TA 100 also yielded positive
results. In a half-head-test against CTAC, the combination of TEGO ® Amid S 18 plus ABIL ® Quat 3474 was found to provide
synergistic benefits.
An increased dry combing force, which is important for volume improvement, was found in the sensory test for VARISOFT ® W
575 PPG as well as for VARISOFT ® PATC. As determined by technical combing force measurements, TEGO ® Amid S 18 increased
the combing forces in comparison to an untreated control (Figure 11), (tests done by an institute).
