After entering information in all fields, click “Submit.” If the User Name you entered is valid, you will see the message, “Msg – User created successfully” followed by the User Name. You must communicate the User Name to the user so that this person can access the system. The system will generate a Password and email it to the user. If the User Name you entered is already in use by someone else, you will see the message, “Error – The User Name already exists. Please choose a different ID.” In this case, enter a different User Name as described above, reenter the password, and click “Submit” again. Edit an Existing User Name If you have created any User Names, you may edit these. Click “Admin Functions” in the left-hand menu on the screen. The Admin Functions sub-menu opens. In this sub-menu, click “Edit User.” The following window appears on the screen: To view information about any User Name listed, click “Info” next to the appropriate User Name. This will take you to the screen shown under Create New User Name. You may edit any field, including the password for this User Name. To receive a new Password, click “Reset” next to the appropriate User Name. You will see the message, “Msg – User password has been reset.” 6 EMPLOYER’S REFERENCE MANUAL FOR REPORTING
Set User Permissions You may set the permissions for any User Name to allow this user access to only the portions of the online system needed for that person’s job. Click “Admin Functions” in the left-hand menu on the screen. The Admin Functions sub-menu opens. In this sub-menu, click “User Permissions.” The following screen appears: Locate the person whose permissions you want to edit and click “Edit” next to that User Name.
