Flame failure protection<br />
ATAG gas hobs are fitted either with a thermo-electrical<br />
flame failure device or with the innovative electronic<br />
failure device Easy Flame Control.<br />
Thermo-electrical flame failure<br />
protection: no flame, no gas<br />
This safety device takes care that within a few seconds<br />
of a gas flame igniting a thermocouple is heated<br />
and the protection is activated. Should the flame be<br />
extinguished by a draught or water boiling over for<br />
example, the gas supply to that particular burner will<br />
immediately be cut-off.<br />

The thermal cut-out automatically shuts off the gas supply if the flame<br />
goes out due to a draught or something boiling over<br />
