Stacking and building under
All lotus white freestanding washing
machines are suitable for stacking with a
lotus white freestanding tumble dryer using
the appropriate stacking kit (WTV available
to order). The mid and high end range of
washing machines and tumble dryers can
be fitted under a continuous worktop using
the appropriate building under kit
(UBS-W/T available to order).
The external dimensions of these machines
are H x W x D: 85 x 59.5 x 58 cm.
Fitting a plinth facing
The gap between the lower edge and the
floor on all integrated wash ing machines
and tumble dryers can be closed up using
a suitable kitchen furni ture plinth facing/
kick panel. (Plinth facing/kick panel not
supplied by Miele).
Both integrated washing machines and
tumble dryers have a special groove in
which a plinth facing can be fitted.
Plinth facing dimensions:
Length: 592 –596 mm
Thickness: 8 mm
Height: The plinth facing height must
be calculated after aligning the
height of the machine with the
screw feet or after fitting the
height-adjustment frame(s).
Installation surface
A concrete floor is the most suitable
in stallation surface for a washing machine.
If installed on wooden floorboards there is
a risk of it vibrating during the spin. We
therefore recommend the use of a plywood
base (at least 59 x 52 x 3 cm). The base
should span several joists and be bolted to
the joists and not only to the floorboards.
Check for the presence of pipes and
cables first.
If possible, install the machine in a corner,
as this is usually the most stable part of the
floor.
Integrated appliances
Integrated appliances are designed to take
a furniture door to match your kitchen.
All integrated Miele laundry machines are
supplied without a lid al lowing them to
be slipped easily under a 820–825 mm
worktop.
To integrate an appliance under a
826–840 mm high worktop 46 mm long
screw feet should be fitted in place of
those supplied with the machine.
To integrate an appliance under an
870–885 mm high worktop one raising kit
is required.
To integrate an appliance under an
915–930 mm high worktop two raising kits
are required.
The raising kit is a metal frame which is
bolted to the base of the machine and
increases the height of the machine by
50 mm.
For installation under 825 mm to 869 mm
high worktops you will need to secure a
suitable thickness plywood base to the
floor under the machine.
Furniture door panel dimensions:
Width: 592–596 mm
Thickness: 17–19 mm
(corresponding to the thickness of the
adjacent unit door front panels)
Height: The height of the door front panel
corresponds to the door height of the
adjacent units.

Drying Basket (TK 111)
