The average tumble dryer has a statistical
life of between 5 and 7 years. Miele
machines are designed and tested for
5,000 cycles which equates to 7,500
working hours. At a rate of 5 laundry
loads per week your machine would give
you 20 years of service! 2 )
Condenser dryers
Condenser dryers are for those situations
where it is impractical to duct the machine
to the outside. Warm air simply condenses,
and the water is collected in a drawer at
the front of the machine. If you prefer not
to have to empty the container these
machines have a pump-away facility so
you can drain the condensate out through
a waste pipe.

The large capacity condensed water
container* can hold more water than ever
before so that it doesn’t have to be
emptied as often. A practical labryrinth
spout makes it easy to carry and empty the
container without spillage.
* 3.6 litres on the 6 kg capacity T 7000 range and
4.2 litres on the 7 kg capacity T 8000 range.

The flexible drain hose, conveniently
located at the back of the machine, can be
set up to drain the condensed water
directly away, avoiding the need to empty
the condensed water container ever again.
It is easy to convert the machine back to
using the container whenever you wish.
Condensate leakage: lowest on the
market
Due to the way they are built, no condenser
dryer can be 100% water-tight. This doesn’t
usually present a problem; how ever, if a
dryer isn’t sufficiently sealed, it can have
unfortunate consequences. Thanks to the
optimum design of the seals, condensate
leaks on Miele dryers are less than on any
other brand, a fact which is constantly
being authenticated by independent tests 4 ).
