Benefit Auction for Jim McDonough Silent Auction • August 12 & 13 Donations Wanted • Buyers Invited At the end of June, Jim McDonough suffered a badly broken leg when a horse fell with him. Although his injury will keep Jim from actively training for a while, he is able to oversee training at his operation and can give lessons. Even with his leg in a cast, Jim made sure he was on hand to manage a clinic and competition for the Marine Corps Wounded Warrior program at Don York's D and M Cattle Company in late July. The Benefit Auction will be held in the Miller Coliseum, at the Cutting Show and Southeast Summer Sale from noon, Friday, August 12 through 6 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011. All proceeds will go to Jim McDonough and his family to help with medical expenses and immediate needs. NCHA has donated a Lifetime Membership to the auction with ALL proceeds going to Jim. The letter we begin with changes for each Sale, advancing 5 letters with each Sale. • The Southeast Summer Sale begins with the letter “F”. • Some horses have been moved 5 - 10 lots to avoid a single seller having 2 or more horses back to back. • HOW LONG WILL THE SALE LAST?
