ABSENTEE B ID I NFORMATION If you are unable to attend this sale personally, Professional Auction Services, Inc., suggests one of following ways to ensure that you have a chance to bid on the ponies you are interested in. Online Bidding: see Online Buyer Procedures on Page 11. Mail Bid Form: This form can be found below; obtained by calling Professional Auction Services, Inc. at (800) 240-7900; or is on the web at professionalauction.com. The form will ask which ponies you are interested in bidding on and the maximum amount you will bid on each pony. Your confidence will be respected. It is important that a check for the full amount of the mail bid accompany your Mail Bid Form. If unsuccessful your funds will be returned. Agent Authorization: If you wish to bid on a pony through an Agent, Professional Auction Services, Inc., MUST have a signed and notarized Agent’s Authorization Form on file. If no such form is on file with Professional Auction Services, Inc., all registration papers, etc, associated with the sale of the pony will be transferred to the buyer of record, not to a third party. An Agent Authorization Form is printed on the following pages, or can be obtained by calling Professional Auction Services, Inc. at (800) 240-7900, or is available on the web at professionalauction.com. Telephone Bid: This method of bidding is only an option if the bidder pre-registers using the Mail Bid Form found below. Use the Mail Bid Form to give the appropriate buyer and contact information. You will be called one pony prior to the pony you intend to bid on; and a check for the full amount of the bid must accompany your Mail Bid Form. CREDIT CARDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR ABSENTEE BIDS. NEW Hunter Pony CLASSIC held in conjunction with USEF Pony Finals August 9 - 14, 2011 Kentucky Horse Park Lexington, Kentucky Attention All Pony Finals Competitors: Competition Rules and Regulations state: PONIES THAT ARE IN THE AUCTION THAT ARE ALSO ENTERED TO COMPETE IN THE PONY FINALS MAY ONLY BE TRIED BY JUNIOR RIDERS THE DAY BEFORE THE AUCTION AND THE DAY OF THE AUCTION IN THE DESIGNATED PONY AUCTION AREA. Auction numbers must be displayed on the ponies. Buyers will assume all expenses and risks on ponies at the fall of the gavel. PAS, Inc. will provide security in the stable area until Noon, Wednesday, August 10. Any ponies that remain for the duration of the Pony Finals show must make special arrangements through the sale office and may have to be moved to a different stall.
