Simba Energy supervised
an exploration team of
geology students from the
University of Liberia to
carry out an extensive
survey over the most
prospective portions of
Simba’s licence area
• 15 oil seeps found on all
traverses explored
covering an area of
approximately 125 sq.kms
• Each sighting had
numerous oil seeps in
close proximity
The high volatile oil associated with the seeps is a positive indication of mature oil. The onshore basin is
either deep enough to have temperature and pressure levels capable of maturation or migration has come
from offshore sediments.
