Hoffnung & Co - tied by Brisbane 'INVEST IN THE/7TH WAR LOAN' slogan which is clear of the<br />
Saddle on Emu - BW #71(1)e - on the first unit. [The ½d War Tax was introduced only in October 1918<br />
so this item is ½d overpaid]<br />
1918-20 group of OHMS lettersheets for notifying of infectious disease (4) or of pulmonary tuberculosis<br />
(2) with KGV 1d red (2), 1d red + ½d green, 1½d black-brown or 2d orange (2), one damaged before<br />
being posted. Reasonable offers considered. (6)<br />
1923 commercial cover to Brisbane (arrival b/s of 29DE23) with KGV ½d green & 2d scarlet x2 tied by<br />
double-oval undated 'ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH OFFICE/WORONGARY' h/s (3 fine to very fine strikes<br />
