Item 9 Performance Exception Report Annex 3 62 Day "GP Urgent referral to Treatment" Performance summary May Performance was 84.4% and 83.1% year to date. Of the 20.5 breaches in May, 11 were deemed to be influenced by reasons under the control of the trust. 9 Diagnostic delay breaches, 1 Insufficient Outpatient Capacity and 1 Insufficient Inpatient Capacity. Item 9 Forecast Significant progress has been made to implement a new pathway within lung and urology. However due to the patients currently in the system it is unlikely this will be realised until September. It is anticipated with all the changes small but steady sustainable progress will be made. However once changes have been embedded it is recognised that continued progress with all sites is required to ensure all patients where appropriate are treated within the 62 day standard. 14
