The Board is asked to note: Conclusion • The work being overseen by the Records and Information Governance Forum and the records strategy work being reported to the Safety and Quality Committee. • The Medical Director will take over the role as Chief Clinical Information Officer and a dedicated Freedom of Information Manager has been appointed to address the backlog of Freedom of Information requests. 28. Work is being carried out by all areas holding key Information Governance roles. The CARE QUALITY COMMISSION report following the recent routine inspection has highlighted immediate issues to be addressed. Operational Information Governance incident reporting is being revamped. Metrics for Subject Access and Freedom of Information requests are now being reported. The implications of the Caldicott2 report are being considered. A long term Health Record Strategy is now in place with a vision to move to eNotes. Clear clinical leadership for Health Record Keeping has been established. 7
