SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES<br />
The OSDS coordinates several scholarship programs to provide the poor but deservi<strong>ng</strong><br />
students of the University with money allowances that abates their financial needs in the school.<br />
The followi<strong>ng</strong> are the scholarship programs that are offered in the <stro<strong>ng</strong>>Pamantasan</stro<strong>ng</strong>> <strong>ng</strong> Lu<strong>ng</strong>sod <strong>ng</strong><br />
<strong>Maynila</strong> through the OSDS:<br />
Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines<br />
A non-profit organization and considered as partner of the University in providi<strong>ng</strong><br />
opportunities to economically disadvantaged but academically deservi<strong>ng</strong> students.<br />
Charity First Foundation Incorporation<br />
The commitment of Charity First Foundation to social growth and community<br />
development lead to a partnership with PLM in providi<strong>ng</strong> scholarship grants to poor but<br />
deservi<strong>ng</strong> students of the institution.<br />
DOST-SEI <stro<strong>ng</strong>>Scholarship</stro<strong>ng</strong>> Grant<br />
In order to recognize and identify the country’s youth with very high aptitude in Science<br />
and Mathematics, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) entered into a partnership<br />
with PLM and offered a merit scholarship program to its students.<br />
Luis Co Chi Kiat Foundation<br />
A foundation dedicated to provide educational assistance that would equip deservi<strong>ng</strong><br />
individuals to secure employment and growth has extended its scholarship program to the<br />
students of PLM.<br />
SM Foundation<br />
A non-profit organization organized for the purpose of extendi<strong>ng</strong> support and assistance<br />
to less-fortunate individuals has sponsored an educational scholarship program in PLM.<br />
Megaworld Foundation<br />
Non-stock, non-profit corporation. The foundation has offered to provide financial<br />
assistance and/or other benefits to qualified, deservi<strong>ng</strong> and talented but financially-handicapped<br />
students of educational institutions.<br />
CIBAC <stro<strong>ng</strong>>Scholarship</stro<strong>ng</strong>><br />
Citizens’ Battle Against Corruption, a partner organization of PLM, has offered a<br />
financial assistance in the form of scholarship in which it intends to help and provide educational<br />
opportunities to economically disadvantaged but deservi<strong>ng</strong> youth/individuals who wish to take<br />
up degree programs in the college.<br />
CFCBI Foundation<br />
A non-profit, socio-civic, non-government organization composed of Filipino-Chinese<br />
businessmen whose aim is to support the government in its goal of promoti<strong>ng</strong> an environment<br />
conducive to job creation and economic advancement.
