<strong>The</strong> rugged and largely inaccessible landscape of the<br />
<strong>Eastern</strong> <strong>Himalayas</strong> has made biological surveys in the<br />
region extremely diffi cult. As a result, wildlife has<br />
remained poorly surveyed and there are large areas that<br />
are still biologically unexplored.<br />
