Legion of Wall regarding Memorial
The band is scheduled to give their
performance about 1:30. Doug is
quoted as saying, “We will be playing;
please come and hear us.”
Talk about going straight from
winter into summer — I think we
have just done that! Trees aren’t
fully leafed out but this heat
should change that. We need rain!
Terrible windy today, Tuesday.
Ranchers are busy with brandings
pastures.
Moni Grenstiner said Mother’s
Day was leisurely and enjoyable as
they had a family picnic at Ty
Grenstiner’s home in Wasta.
Also attending was Darren
Nachtigall, who has been spending
time at Good Samaritan after a
broken leg kind of laid him up.
Jamy, Ray and Mavrick
Williams had time with Jamy’s
mother near Belvidere.
Marilyn Keyser is back “home’ in
Wasta for the summer. She has
had a rough time with cancer, but
is on the mend. Good to have you
home again, Marilyn. Son, Jay,
who lives in the Dallas area drove
up with her and will fly back there.
Thanks Jay and I’m looking forward
to a good visit, Marilyn.
Barb Crawford spotted a new
sparrow at the bird’s “cafe” at their
sparrow, a southern bird that
migrates to Canada, but obviously
got blown off track.
Happy Trails!
Elm Springs residents are busy
enjoying the nice weather and
doing spring work. Some brandings
planting in hopes and prayers of
the rains that are predicted later
(not sure how much later but hopefully
sooner rather than later!)
