During its 34 years of artistic existence, the Fundación Juan March has put on 572 exhibitions that were seen by over 10.000 people, organized by the Foundation itself or in collaboration with various institutions. The organized exhibitions include a complete catalogue as well as other publications and complementary activities. The Fundacion Juan March also publishes editions of original graphic works such as those started in 1963 by the Museo de Arte Abstracto Espanol in Cuenca. The Fundación Juan March regularly organizes monographic exhibitions of the major artists or artistic movements chiefly from the 20 th century. Among the exhibitions put on in its Madrid headquarters are found exhibitions featuring: Oskar Kokoschka, Jean Dubuffet, Alberto Giacometti, Francis Bacon, Vassily Kandinsky, Willem de Kooning, Georges Braque, Julio González, Robert Motherwell, Henri Matisse, Paul Klee, Piet Mondrian, Robert and Sonia Delaunay, Kurt Schwitters, Fernand Léger, Roy Lichtenstein, Henri Cartier- Bresson, Pierre Bonnard, Joseph Cornell, Almada Negreiros, Julius Bissier, Julia Margaret Cameron, Robert Rauschenberg, Max Ernst, Ben Nicholson, Irving Penn, Mark Rothko, René Magritte, Edward Hopper, Odilon Redon, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Maria Helena Vieira da Silva, Claude Monet, Richard Diebenkorn, Alexej von Jawlensky, Kasimir Malevich, Isamu Noguchi, Georges Rouault, Tom Wesselmann, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Max Beckmann, Emil Nolde, Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso, Paul Delvaux, Richard Lindner, Marc Chagall, Lovis Corinth, Victor Vasarely, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff; Adolph Gottlieb, Georgia O’Keeffe, William Turner, Otto Dix and Gustav Klimt. The Fundación Juan March has also put on, in its Madrid headquarters, group shows such as those entitled "Contemporary Spanish Art. The exhibition "Roy Lichtenstein: Beginning to End" undertaken by the Fundación Juan March in collaboration with the Roy Lichtenstein Foundation in New York and shown in the Foundation’s headquarters in Madrid from February 2 through May 27, 2007, will be presented in the Pinacothèque de Paris under the title "Roy Lichtenstein: evolution". It completes the exhibition "Lichtenstein: the creative process", which was more broad based and was shown in 2005 and 2006 in the Museo de Arte Abstracto Español in Cuenca, and in the Museu d’Art Espanyol Contemporani in Palma. Already in 1983, the Fundación Juan March had devoted a one-man show to Roy Lichtenstein in Madrid, the first in Spain.
