There were 8 additional attendees present.
The adoption of military specs to PIA Commercial
Specifications and how to handle the transition and
re-naming of the specs was reviewed. Only the
name will change, nothing in the specifications at
this time. Dan Poynter has 12 ready now and 38
will be ready soon. The new PIA Specifications are
in the web site and will be available to purchase by
the end of October. Procedures and policies for
handling on-line distribution and charges will be
available on the web site and in PARA
NEWSBRIEF.
It was suggested we contact liaisons with the
following government agencies.

There was considerable conversation with different
ideas of how the mil specs should be titled and the
numbering format to be used. Also, a discussion
was held on how to implement PIA Specifications
within the military drawings and requirements
areas.
Visits will be made in the coming months to Kelly
AFB Life Support Group, U.S. Army Natick RD&E
Labs and DPSC to further refine both our
specifications and the process of implementation.
Additional contacts will be made with other groups,
suppliers and manufacturers.
Additional monetary funds are needed to finish
specifications project. $5000.00 will be requested.
