The adoption of military specs to PIA Commercial<br />
Specifications and how to handle the transition and<br />
re-naming of the specs was reviewed. Only the<br />
name will change, nothing in the specifications at<br />
this time. Dan Poynter has 12 ready now and 38<br />
will be ready soon. The new PIA Specifications are<br />
in the web site and will be available to purchase by<br />
the end of October. Procedures and policies for<br />
handling on-line distribution and charges will be<br />
available on the web site and in PARA<br />
NEWSBRIEF.<br />
It was suggested we contact liaisons with the<br />
following government agencies.<br />

There was considerable conversation with different<br />
ideas of how the mil specs should be titled and the<br />
numbering format to be used. Also, a discussion<br />
was held on how to implement PIA Specifications<br />
within the military drawings and requirements<br />
areas.<br />
Visits will be made in the coming months to Kelly<br />
AFB Life Support Group, U.S. Army Natick RD&E<br />
Labs and DPSC to further refine both our<br />
specifications and the process of implementation.<br />
Additional contacts will be made with other groups,<br />
suppliers and manufacturers.<br />
Additional monetary funds are needed to finish<br />
specifications project. $5000.00 will be requested.<br />
