Obituary - <strong>Emerson</strong> <strong>McMillin</strong> 3d, grandson <strong>of</strong> <strong>Emerson</strong> <strong>McMillin</strong>, capitalist and art<br />

collector, died in this city on Friday after a long illness at the age <strong>of</strong> 41. He is survived<br />

by his widow, Mrs. Olga Kohler <strong>McMillin</strong> <strong>of</strong> the Hotel St. Regis, and his mother, the<br />

Baroness Traverso <strong>of</strong> Florence, Italy, who is now in New York.<br />

In the World War period Mr. <strong>McMillin</strong> served as a private secretary to the late<br />

Ambassador Thomas Nelson Page in Rome and as a liaison <strong>of</strong>ficer in the United States<br />

Navy Aviation Corps.<br />

He was educated at the Sheffield Scientific School, Yale<br />

Died - <strong>McMillin</strong> - <strong>Emerson</strong>, 3d, on December 27, 1935, husband <strong>of</strong> Olga Kohler and<br />

son <strong>of</strong> Estelle <strong>McMillin</strong> Traverso. Funeral service at St. Thomas Church, 5th Ave., at<br />

53rd St. on Monday, Dec. 30, at 1030 A.M. Interment private. Kindly omit flowers.<br />
