The Forty-eighth Institute of China<br />
Electronics Technology Group<br />
Corporation (<strong>CETC48</strong>) was founded in<br />
1964 and is one of the first<br />
corporations in China engaged in the<br />
PV industry. <strong>CETC48</strong> not only<br />
manufactures PV modules but is also a<br />
world leader in manufacturing plant for<br />
PV from ingot furnaces through to cell<br />
production - a truly vertically integrated<br />
company that is 100% in control of all<br />
processes. <strong>CETC48</strong> is supported by a<br />
strong R&D team with more than 800<br />
technical staff including 46 professors,<br />
176 scientists and over 400 engineers.<br />
<strong>CETC48</strong> is state owned and part of the<br />
China State Council’s “national team”<br />
of companies engaged in PV. This<br />

High efficiency<br />
Monocrystalline silicon wafers ensure the<br />
highest module efficiency. The use of<br />
toughened low iron solar safety glass<br />
offers maximum light transmission while<br />
offering optimum protection. From using<br />
monocrystalline wafers and special glass<br />
through to the 3 bus bar configuration<br />
ensures the highest efficiency.<br />
Tight tolerance<br />
Exacting testing of all wafers allows<br />
very close matching between modules<br />
with a power tolerance range of -1% to<br />
+3% (4% spread). Multiple modules<br />
can be used in series and parallel with<br />
the utmost confidence.<br />
Plug and Play<br />
Installation could not be simpler<br />
through the use of pre-assembled<br />
connectors allowing easy series<br />
connection between modules. Clear<br />
labelling confirms matching of all<br />
modules in any size installation.<br />
Built to last<br />
Employing a double anodized<br />
aluminium frame and toughened glass<br />
allows loads up to 5,400 Pa (5,400<br />
N/m 2 ). A series of drainage holes on<br />
the frame underside protect against<br />
frost damage.<br />
Tested in Britain<br />
All module shipments are tested in the<br />
UK as part of The Solar Building<br />
Company’s commitment to quality.<br />
Guarantee and warranty<br />
A comprehensive 10 year materials<br />
and workmanship guarantee offers<br />
great peace of mind. This is<br />
supplemented by a power output<br />
performance warranty: >90% after 12<br />
years; >80% after 25 years.<br />
