Environmental Statement (ES)
1.3.3 Having regard to the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (EIA)
(England and Wales) Regulations, 1999 (as amended) and in consultation with ELDC, the
applicant has prepared an Environmental Statement (ES) to accompany the planning
application. The scope of the ES has been agreed with ELDC though the formal Scoping
process prior to submission, and responds to pre-application consultation carried out with the
LPA, statutory and non-statutory consultees.
1.3.4 The ES comprises four separately bound parts:
Non-Technical Summary – summarising the key findings of the EIA in non-technical
language
Volume 1: Written Statement – reporting the findings of the EIA
Volume 2: Figures –to accompany the text of Volume 1
Volume 3: Appendices – additional technical material to support the text in Volume 1
Statement of Community Involvement (SCI)
1.3.5 A Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) has been prepared which records the preapplication
consultation undertaken with the ELDC, members of the public and interested
groups. This consultation included public exhibitions and letters to local MP‟s, Councillors and
Parish Councils. The consultation undertaken has been informed by the East Lindsey
Statement of Community Involvement.
