SEATS Seats Introduction This section covers the operation and safe use of your Medium Duty seats. For further information on features and adjustment of the seat, see the manufacturer's literature included with the vehicle. Seat Adjustment WARNING! Do not adjust the driver's seat while the vehicle is moving. A sudden or unexpected seat movement can cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle. Make all adjustments to the seat while the vehicle is stopped. • After adjusting the seat and before driving off, always check to be sure that the seat is firmly latched in position. Standard Driver's Seat The standard driver's seat can be adjusted forward and rearward. These movements are each controlled by levers located on the FRONT of the seat. Driver's Seat with Air Suspension (Option) WARNING! Before driving or riding in the vehicle, be sure that there is adequate head clearance at maximum upward travel of seat. Safety belts have proven to be the single most effective means available for reducing the potential for either serious injury or death in motor vehicle accidents. Therefore, read and follow these instructions and always observe user warnings pertaining to safety belts.
