Operating Instructions<br />

Self Test<br />

When you turn on your ignition, the following warning lights<br />

will turn on for 3 - 5 seconds, as a test to let you know they<br />

are working.<br />

Instruments and Controls<br />

The buzzer will sound continuously as long as:<br />

• Air pressure to the service brakes is low<br />

• Engine oil pressure is low<br />

• There is a problem in the hydraulic brake system<br />

Fifth Wheel<br />

Oil Pressure<br />

High Beam<br />

Right Turn<br />

Engine Fan<br />

ABS Park *<br />

* Vehicle with hydraulic brakes only<br />

WARNING! Do not ignore a warning light or<br />

buzzer. These signals tell you something is<br />

wrong with your vehicle. It could be a failure in an<br />

If the buzzer sounds while driving, or if a light comes on, do<br />

the following:<br />

1. Slow down carefully.<br />

2. Move a safe distance off the road and stop.<br />

3. Set the parking brake. (See Pages 65 and 72 for transmission<br />

shifting and parking brake information.)<br />

4. If the engine is overheating do not turn it off, see page<br />

22; otherwise, for other conditions turn the engine OFF.<br />

5. Turn on the emergency flasher and use other warning<br />

devices to alert other motorists.<br />
