Visually inspect for damage or leaks.<br />

Check oil level. Check “cold.” Torque the drain plug.<br />

Drain the lubricant while warm. Flush each unit with clean flushing<br />

oil. Change the lubricant.<br />

Air Shift Unit<br />

Check the lubricant level.<br />

Remove the housing cover and drain the lubricant. Wash the parts<br />

thoroughly and dry in air.<br />

Breather Clean or replace. X<br />

Lube Pump (ON HIGHWAY)<br />

Remove the magnetic strainer and inspect for wear particles. Wash<br />

in solvent and dry in air.<br />

Lube Pump (OFF HIGHWAY)<br />

Remove the magnetic strainer and inspect for wear particles. Wash<br />

in solvent and dry in air.<br />

Lube Filter (ON HIGHWAY) Change. X<br />
