The victim Susanta Uttaray had resided with his family at Manetir Alanda village. On 25 th March, 2008<br />
there was a tournament in the village. The drum party of one tournament had not played the drum<br />
properly. So there was a scuffle between two parties of the tournament.<br />

Later that evening when the victim Manetir Alanda was sitting in the Bazar, the police officer had gone<br />
there and had abused him with filthy words in presence of public. Later the police had sent him to Jail.<br />
But even the jail personnel had detained him without examining him radically.<br />

The victim Bhagirathi Sahoo had married Kuni Sahu and they were happy for few days. Later there<br />
was a dispute between both of them and Suni Devi had tortured the victim Bhagirathi Sahoo mentally.<br />
She had gathered women from near by and had created disturbance to the victim. The victim had<br />
requested her not to do that. But she had chased him out of his house and had taken Rs 30, 215 from<br />
him. Later she had filed a dowry case against the victim.<br />

words. The police had also slapped him in presence of his wife and few other women.
