Victim Shree Prahallad Bag, age 19, member of the scheduled tribes, was returning from cinema when
the officer in charge of the local outpost along with two constables beat him up so that he fell down and got
injuries on his nose and forehead.

Case Details:
Smt Kaikei Tandi, age about 32, member of the scheduled tribes, suffered attempted rape from Santosh
of her village. When she shouted he ran away. On this incident, first she informed her husband and both
of them called the villagers and reported the incident to them where Santosh threatened to kill Kaikeyi.
Together with her husband she wanted to complain at the police station but the policemen did not register
her report. When she complained about that she was beaten unconscious.

The cultivated land of victim Arati Biswal, age 31, member of the OBC-community, was burned down by
Kushle Sahoo and Dasarath Bagh of Khari village. When Arati protested they attempted to rape her.
Both Arati and her husband Rajendra Biswal went to the police station to report this. When the assistant
sub-inspector (ASI) arrived after three hours he told them to go home but they insisted that the police
should take action. Therefore the ASI Dhabaleswar Mishra beat her and when she fell down he kicked
her.
