when he went in the morning, Kanai found a four feet long iron pipe, a barrel of tube well and a chain stolen
from his field. He informed the matter to the SI of Char Moirosi Border Security Force Camp but no
action was taken. Then Kanai went to Raninagar Police Station, where too his complaint was rejected at
first. But after an argument the complaint was accepted but the police remained silent over the issue. It
came to light that thieves usually came from Bangladesh and stole the farming tools of poor Indian
farmers; but the BSF failed to protect the border areas of the country. It is also alleged that the officials
themselves assisted such kinds of activities.
