MMSU sets trend in charcoal making
Mariano Marco State University (MMSU) researchers set new
trend in charcoal making fashioning to their utmost importance the
once worthless bamboo wastes and rice hull abandoned in the fields
of the countryside.
With this technology, tons of bamboo wastes and rice hull, instead
of being an eyesore, will now be a source of income. And more! It
will provide good use for wastewater from chichacorn (crispy fried
corn kernels) production, a possible environmental hazard especially
for water sources.
