Communiversity @
Surprise?
Phoenix College is a proud partner
in the new Communiversity
@ Surprise, a unique higher
education center where students
can complete certificates, associate
degrees, bachelor's degrees
and master's degrees all in one
location. Along with host college
Rio Salado College, Phoenix
College and several other institutions
offer a total of 40 programs.
Partners include Glendale Community
College, Ottawa University,
University of the Incarnate
Word, Western International
University, and West-MEC.
What degree
pathways are
offered?
The degree pathways supported
through the Communiversity are
in-demand educational programs
as designated by a Workforce
Study Analysis. They include:

• Education
• Health Care
• Information Systems
• General Education
• Public Safety
Each program pathway allows
students to have a seamless
transfer from one institution to
another – from the community
college to the university.
Classes at the Communiversity
are available face-to-face and/or
online, and are offered in flexible
eight-week formats. Students can

up to 90 credits -- instead of the
traditional 64 credits -- through
