Physical Education (PED)
Department Chair:
Fitness and Wellness Programs: The Health Professions, Fitness,
and Wellness Department serves a diverse population, including the
traditional college student, young adults, working professionals, and
senior and retired individuals. We maintain a service first learning
environment and support our students by providing the opportunity,
resources, and assistance necessary to achieve a higher level of
personal wellbeing through a wide variety of physical activity,
wellness, and educational experiences. We invite you to join our
community.
All PED classes to access the Fitness Center and Aerobics
schedule begins August 20. All students enrolling in the following
classes must attend an orientation: PED115, PED116, PED117,
PED101FL, PED101GF, and PED101WT. A Special/User Fee is
assessed for each PED class which is used to purchase supplies
and equipment for the classes. Student may attend class anytime
our facility is open.
The orientation will be held in the Multi Purpose Room - G163,
South Gym, on the following dates and times:
Saturday, August 20 at 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm Monday - Thursday,
August 22-25 at 10am, 12pm, 4pm, 6pm Friday, August 26 at 10am,
12pm.
