Introduction:
Professional Paintball Sup plies was founded in 1994 to support the now highly
successful World Champio n professional paintball team ”Lockout”. Owned and
staffed mostly by team Lockout players, we provide a service that most other custom
paintball shops cannot. We know, use, and stand behind our products 100%. With
our professional paintball playing experience and our drive to engineer the finest,
most adaptable paintball products ever made, we outclass all large scale
manufacturers and smaller paintball “custom“ shops. No other retailer can say that
their design and support has helped transform a small amateur paintball team to the
dramatic success that Team Lockout has achieved in such a short period of time.
The driving force behind our success is Free Flow Technology. Designed,
prototyped, and produced solely by members of Team Lockout, Free Flow

Technology combines the latest fluid engineering philosophies with real world
paintball experience.
Free Flow Technology combines usability with “low cycling pressure” to create some
of the finest custom paintball guns on the market. Even though we are constantly
developing new ideas, the most proven ones are available in our custom Autococker
design.
The Team Lockout Free Flow Autococker
The Free Flow Autococker started as a small way to eliminate ball chopping in the
“real world” paintball environment. When paintball manufacturers started making
“brittle” paintballs to reduce costly bounced shots, we realized the crucial importance
of this paint in top level tournament competition. Sometimes it wasn’t the best team
that won the game, it was the team that got a “lucky” bounce that ended up pulling a
game out of certain defeat.
After using this paint for a short while, we noticed a tendency to chop more balls in
the breach from a hard hitting bolt of a half-fed paintball. Incorrect feeding of paint
can, sometimes, be eliminated by motorized loaders, shooting slower or just keeping
the gun upright. We tried as players to use these methods to our advantage, but it
always seemed that the one time you are in the tightest bunker on the field, trying to
angle your gun through a hole to make the one game breaking shot, you were almost
sure to chop a ball. We then decided that half fed balls are not the only major cause
of chopped paint but nearly impossible to avoid in a top level paintball competition.
Since the Autococker was already on of the most proven guns available, and it
offered on of the lowest “cycling” pressures stock, we began a project that soon
became recognized throughout the paintball circuit as the Free Flow Autococker.Teh
Free Flow Autococker stared off as just trying to find easy to reduce the pressure of
the ram. If we can reduce the pressure in the ram mechanism then the balls couldn’t
chop in the breech the pressure moving the bolt would be lower than that needed to
crush a paintball. After three full years of design and prototyping, we have designed a
custom Autococker that takes this philosophy to a new level. This is the Autococker
that you now own.
The Team Lockout Free Flow Aoutococker combines all that we have learned, tested
and proven in top level paintball into a usable package that effectively drops
”cycling” pressure to less than half of any other gun produced today. Standard
Autocockers cycle at approximately 90psi. Most customized Autocockers cycle at
roughly the same or higher pressures due to a low “firing” pressure philosophy.
Team Lockout Free Flow Autocockers cycle as low as 30psi while keeping the
“firing” pressure slightly lower than stock.
Getting Started:

This guide will teach you to maintain your Team Lockout Free Flow Autococker. It
will also help you diagnose and solve minor problems unique to our low cycling
pressure philosophy. A few things need to be mentioned before we begin.
1. It is extremely important to wear safety approved paintball goggles whenever
handling a loaded Autococker. Even if the propellant is removed (CO2,
HPA, or N 2 ) is removed, enough air may remain inside the secondary
regulator to discharge the Autococker.
2. ALWAYS disconnect the propellant and remove all paintballs from the
Autococker before performing maintenance or diagnostics.
3. Even though the Tem Lockout Free Flow Autococker is slightly different than the
standard Autococker it still functions with the same pattern. All users should be
familiar with the current Worr Game Products Autococker Users Manual and
must abide by all safety recommendations within that publication.
4. All Team Lockout Free Flow Autocockers come with a lifetime parts and service
warranty. This warranty is gun specific not owner specific. If you are not
confident with what you see here in this guide – send it to an authorized service
center (see page 12) and we’ll service it FREE (you must cover the shipping).
Team Lockout Free Flow Autococker Features:
This version of out Free Flow Autococker incorporates proven technology from several
manufacturers to achieve super low cycling pressures.
Functional features:
1. Heavy nylon locking hammer design that eliminates “lug walk” and the loosening
of the cocking rod due to vibration.
2. Complete Free Flow Pneumatic kit to transfer large volume, low pressure air
efficiently and smoothly (Includes Micro Rock Regulator – still the most
adjustable and reliable front end regulator made, WGP’s STO Ram – the best
serviceable ram on the market, and our high volume smooth bore “Bullet” 4-way
valve – this trigger activated valve has 4 times the flow of any other to aid in
rapid transfer of low pressure air to the ram.
3. Custom Free Flow Low Cycle Pressure valve – using the most proven and reliable
“WGP” cup seal and guide pin we reduce the spring pressure needed to achieve
optimum velocity while improving overall shots per tank by 40%.
4. A softer main spring that is 4 times lighter than any “Nelson” spring – this
reduces lug release tension behind the trigger so you can fire the gun without
working out your trigger finger.
5. Hand polished trigger internals – smooth as a ball bearing and nickel plated to last
a lifetime.
6. Professional 45 Frame V2.01 – the only frame of it’s kind. Allows two trigger
ride adjustments, sear tension adjustment, sear angle adjustment, and trigger stop
adjustment.

7. Free Flow Bolt – diffusing bolt that directs the firing pressure to the outside of the
ball instead of hitting it directly (saves barrel breaks and increases effective
range).
8. Professional In-Line regulator – we’ve chosen this top quality regulator to handle
the Free Flow Autococker While still maintaining unmatched reliability.
9. DYE Boomstick or Smart Parts FREAK – the most approved, and most used
barrel on the top level for only one reason: QUALITY.
Basic Operations Knowledge
Team Lockout Free Flow Autocockers are sensitive the final input pressure. The valve
design is only effective in reducing cycling pressure when the final input pressure is set at
300-320psi.
The input pressure to the supplied Professional regulator from your propellant source
should be a consistent. We recommend running approximately 600psi into the regulator.
Velocity adjustments should be made using the supplied 3/16ths allen key in the back of
the Autococker (see current WGP Users Manual). DO NOT ADJUST VELOCITY BY
CHANGING THE OUTPUT PRESSURE OF THE REGULATOR! Adjusting the velocity
by main spring tension assures consistent velocity readings and gives you a heads up on
diagnosing minor problems associated with the valve retention system.
Adjusting the Palmers Micro Rock
Contrary to the guide supplied from Palmers Pursuit Shop we suggest you adjust the
Micro Rock using our proven tournament knowledge. This is the heart of the Free Flow
system and if you adjust it improperly the gun functions at higher cycling pressures and
can chop paint.
ALWAYS WEAR SAFTEY APPROVED PAINTBALL GOGGLES WHEN
ADJUSTING THE MICRO ROCK!!
1. Make sure there is no paint in the chamber or attached to the gun
2. Install gas source
3. Screw the adjusting knob counter clockwise to reduce all pressure to the ram and
“Bullit” valve
4. While repeatedly activating the trigger mechanism, screw the adjusting knob
clockwise – a slow leak is normal
5. The ram will begin to move the bolt and the leaking should stop
6. Keep screwing the adjusting knob clockwise until the gun fully cocks and the
hammer fires.
7. The Micro Rock is now at it’s minimum pressure
8. Give the adjusting knob another ¼ turn over the minimum and the cycling
pressure is set

9. You made need to make minor adjustments to this on the field but never more
than ½ turn over the minimum pressure.
10. Repeat these steps every time you ga s the gun up for a day of use
Other things you should know
I your barrel is not matched to the paintballs you are shooting, the gun can malfunction.
Follow this quick guide to match your barrel to the paintballs.
1. Remove barrel from gun
2. Take a sample paintball from the case that you are shooting from.
3. Put the paintball into the breech end of the barrel (the end that screws into the
gun)
4. The paintball should fit snug to the sides of the barrel
5. The ideal fit is one where the ball stays inside the breech but doesn’t rest on top of
the barrel
6. It should be easy for you to blow the paintball through the barrel, If it gets stuck
in the barrel, try another internal bore size
7. NEVER USE A BARREL WHERE THE PAINTBALL GETS STUCK ON THE
TOP OF THE BREECH ENDA ND CAN’T BE BLOWN OUT- this will result in
ball breaks and misfiring of the Free Flow Autococker
8. All paintball sre different – try several from one case to be certain you have
correct match
9. It is better to use paintballs that roll out than paintballs that can’t be blown
through
We use all the factory standard adjusting screw sizes.
General Maintenance
During normal use the Team Lockout Free Floe Autococker will need relatively little
maintenance. Please follow the guide below to keep your gun running smooth as when it
came from Professional Paintball.
Things to do after every use;
1. Remove, clean and re-lube bolt (we recommend a small amount of DOW-33 lube
or lithium grease on the entire bolt – not just the o-rings)
2. Wipe of fthe external areas of the gun (to ward of oxidation)
3. Make sure all visible screws are hand tight (3-way couple set screws, frame
retaining bolts, front block bolt, and beavertail screw)
Things to do in addition to above after every 25,000 shots or 12 cases of paint:
1. Unscrew Professional regulaton and put 3 drops of light oil into the vertical
adapter
2. Remove and oil (using light oil) the Professional 45 Frame internals (including
springs, trigger plate and sear)

3. Service your sir setup according to manufacturers recommendations
Make sure to perform both maintenance procedures as needed. If you are unsure about
performing the maintenance in any way at all please consult a paintball airsmith or send
your gun to one of our service centers (we will gladly do it for free). Failure to maintain
your Team Lockout Free Flow Autococker can result in malfunction that is not covered
under out lifetime warranty.
Troubleshooting
If your Team Lockout Free Flow Autococker exhibits any of these problems feel
free to use this troubleshooting guide to help solve your problem. The majority of
problems with the gun are covered under our warranty. Feel free to send your gun
to one of our service centers for factory certified service if you are not comfortable
doing the service yourself or the problem can’t be fixed using this guide.
Problem:
Gun gets erratic or low velocity
Solution: Make sure that the final input pressure to your Free Flow Autococker is
between 300psi and 320psi. Make sure your secondary regulator is holding pressure (not
building up pressure). Check paintballs for correct sizing to your barrel.
Problem:
Gun burps of fires every few shots
Solution: Make sure your cocking rod is fully tightened and your rock regulator is
adjusted properly. If they are, then make sure your sear spring (vertical spring inside of
the Professional 45 Frame) is properly installed (resting on the back of the sear plate). If
it is tehn check your pump arm length (you want the rear block to be loose on the body
when the ram is gassed up). I fit is the correct length then follow the steps for checking
the lug release in the Autococker manual – a small (1/8 turn or less) clockwise lug
adjustment can be all you need.
Problem:
Trigger feels gritty or hard to pull
Solution: Remove and service Professional 45 frame. Take the time to inspect the
lug release surface. It should have a small dark mark on it but not a gritty edge. If you
find a gritty edge on the lug release part of the sear – remove it and use some fine grit
sandpaper (300 or higher) to smooth it out.
