Any person who desires to oppose the registration of these trade marks may within three months from the date of this Journal give notice to the Controller, Patents Office, Government Buildings, Hebron Road, Kilkenny, in accordance with the provisions of Rule 18. It should be noted that under the provisions of Rule 63(2) no extension of the opposition period is allowed for lodging opposition under Rule 18. It is desirable before lodging formal opposition that a communication should be addressed to the Applicant affording him an opportunity to withdraw his application for registration.
