7123 LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS MONDAY 12 OCTOBER 2009 A Review of Environmental Factors was prepared for the Berowra Commuter Car Park project in order to obtain planning approval. This was placed on public display from 21 August to 4 September 2009, and was exhibited at Berowra Library and at Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation offices. The Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation consulted the community about the Berowra Commuter Car Park project through: • One to one door knock consultation and letterbox drops; • Advertisement of the Review of Environmental Factors public display in local newspapers; and • Consultation with local councils and other non-community stakeholders. The Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation identified and consulted individuals, groups and organisations with an interest in the project, including: • Government Agencies including RTA and RailCorp; • Hornsby Shire Council; • Rail commuters, local residents and local businesses; • Emergency services and transport service providers; and; • Other projects⁄stakeholders in vicinity or who enquired about the project. The Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation received 16 responses from the community and stakeholders.
