chapter 16A captures non-government organisations and individuals, such as General Practitioners.<br />

The information exchange provisions are expected to be proclaimed in October 2009 to coincide<br />

with the start <strong>of</strong> the trial and testing phase for the CWUs.<br />

(3) NSW Health is responsible for the implementation <strong>of</strong> Family Referral Services - (formerly known as<br />

Regional Intake and Referral Services). A 12-month trial to determine the best model <strong>of</strong> operation<br />

will commence in three locations (<strong>New</strong>castle, Dubbo and Mt Druitt) in early 2010. Tenders for the<br />

three pilot locations close on 20 October 2009.<br />
