(2) If so, what was the outcome of the RTA's investigations? (3) If not, why has the outcome of these investigations by the RTA been delayed? Answer— I am advised that the Roads and Traffic Authority has completed crash investigations of the Pacific Highway, Broadwater. I am further advised that the investigation determined that road safety issues in this area are primarily related to heavy vehicles. As a result, a point-to-point enforcement length will be implemented in this area as part of the program implementing 20 point-to-point lengths over the next two years to target heavy vehicle speeding. This point-to-point enforcement length will extend from Woodburn to Wardell along the Pacific Highway. I understand that point-to-point enforcement is intended to supplement, rather than replace, police enforcement.
