Answer—<br />

(1) Yes.<br />

(2) The Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998 allows the Commission to undertake<br />

"Working With Children Checks" in specified circumstances. The Commission cannot complete a<br />

Check that does not meet these statutory provisions.<br />

(2) What are the names <strong>of</strong> each <strong>of</strong> these committees and boards that satisfy (1)?<br />

Answer—<br />

(1) and (2) I am advised NSW Maritime's committees are listed in the NSW Maritime Annual Report.<br />

State Property Authority has allocated $34,000 in 2009⁄10 under the Building Refurbishment Program<br />

<strong>New</strong> Works for maintenance⁄repairs <strong>of</strong> the government building at 16 Arkwright Crescent, Taree.<br />
