lack of commuter car parking at the stations on the Epping to Chatswood Rail Link?
(3) Since the opening of the railway stations, on how many occasions have the Easy Access lifts
malfunctioned at the following stations:
(a) Macquarie University;
(b) Macquarie Park;
(c) North Ryde?
(4) Since the opening of the railway stations, for how many hours have the lifts been out of operation as
a result of repairs carried out at the following stations:
(a) Macquarie University;
(b) Macquarie Park;
(c) North Ryde?
(5) Since the opening of the railway stations, on which dates have the lifts been out of operation as a
result of repairs carried out at the following stations:
(a) Macquarie University;
(b) Macquarie Park;
(c) North Ryde?
Answer—
I am advised:
(1) Around 8,500 customers use the Epping to Chatswood rail link on a typical week day since the
introduction of the full fare.
(2) The ECRL stations are seen as destination stations only and car parking is not a requisite as the 3
stations are surrounded by business parks, shopping centres and the university.
(3) to (5) I am advised that data on lift faults is available from April as follows:
(a) 16
(b) 12
(c) 8

(1) Has the Triple P - Positive Parenting Program - been evaluated?
(2) If so, was the evaluation carried out by the Department of Community Services?
(3) Have any other parent training support programs been accepted by the Department?
(4) If so, are they used by the Department?
Answer—
(1) Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) has an extensive evidence base with over 80 evaluation studies
undertaken internationally, including over 45 randomised controlled trials and 3 independent meta
analyses.
