What is the amount under the entry that has been allocated to the Oxley electorate?<br />

Answer—<br />

I am advised that the "various" works referred to are components <strong>of</strong> statewide programs. These programs<br />

represent initiatives aimed at improving services and infrastructure across the whole <strong>of</strong> the health system.<br />

*7411 ROZELLE MAJOR ROAD WORKS—Mr Andrew Stoner asked the Minister for Roads—<br />

In relation to the Rozelle major road works:<br />

(1) When did major construction work commence on the Iron Cove Bridge duplication and busway<br />

project in Rozelle?<br />

(2) What times during the day are the works occurring, indicating the dates and the differences between<br />

weekday and weekend times?<br />

(3) What were the average decibel levels during the times indicated in (2)?<br />

(4) How many affected Rozelle homes⁄individuals were <strong>of</strong>fered 13 nights free hotel accommodation by<br />

the RTA?<br />

(5) What is the name and address <strong>of</strong> the hotel accommodation <strong>of</strong>fered to the affected Rozelle residents?<br />

(6) What is the total cost <strong>of</strong> the hotel accommodation <strong>of</strong>fered for these Rozelle residents?<br />

Answer—<br />

Major construction work on the Inner West busway project started on 12 July 2009. I am advised that<br />

standard working hours are 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am - 1pm on Saturdays, while night<br />

works take place between 7pm - 5am Sunday to Thursday. I understand that work may also occasionally<br />

be undertaken outside <strong>of</strong> these times with the approval <strong>of</strong> the environment representative. I am advised<br />

that noise measurements are taken adjacent to worksites for each workzone and compared with target<br />

noise levels.<br />

The RTA has also advised me that residents <strong>of</strong> 13 properties were <strong>of</strong>fered temporary alternative<br />

accommodation. Where possible, hotel accommodation was selected in consultation with the residents to<br />

provide the least inconvenience and was located in the Sydney CBD, Haymarket, and Darling Harbour.<br />

The total cost for hotel accommodation to 1 September 2009 was $21,495.36.<br />

In relation to Learner and P Plate drivers:<br />

(1) As <strong>of</strong> 1 September 2009, how many NSW residents currently hold:<br />

(a) a Learner Drivers Licence?<br />

(b) a Provisional (P1) Drivers Licence;<br />

(c) a Provisional (P2) Drivers Licence;<br />

(d) an Unrestricted Drivers License (gold);<br />

(e) a National Heavy Vehicle Drivers License (magenta)?<br />

(2) As <strong>of</strong> 1 September 2009, how many NSW residents have a suspended licence in the following<br />

licence categories:<br />

(a) a Learner Drivers Licence;<br />

(c) a Provisional (P2) Drivers Licence;<br />
